Security Alert: Beware of False and Fraudulent Information

Avo Insurance ("Avo") has been alerted to a fraudulent investment platform operating under the name "安我股保." This platform falsely claims to be a financial product co-launched by Avo and CITIC Securities in mainland China, in partnership with an individual named "林新天."

 Avo makes the following official and unequivocal clarification:

• Avo has absolutely no connection to the fraudulent platform "安我股保" and has never launched this product in Hong Kong or mainland China.
• We have no association whatsoever with "林新天," who claims to represent "安我股保," or any related unauthorised social media accounts in Hong Kong or mainland China.
• Avo has never engaged in any form of cooperation with CITIC Securities.

For the public interest, Avo takes all fraudulent activities seriously. We have immediately notified the Insurance Authority ("IA") of Hong Kong and ensured that the fraudulent links are included on Scameter to help the public stay alert.

 We strongly urge the public to be wary of suspicious websites and to always verify authenticity. If you suspect you have been scammed, please immediately contact the Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Deception Coordination Centre at (852) 18222.
